Man robs pregnant woman

 A MAN accused of stealing a pregnant woman’s bilum containing K7,000 has been refused bail by a court.

Magistrate Cosmas Bidar remanded Alo Albert in custody when he appeared at the Waigani Committal Court.Albert, from Muno village, Ihu, Gulf, is alleged to have stolen the woman’s bilum at the KilaKila bus stop in the National Capital District on Aug 25.

Police told the court that people at the bus stop chased Albert and managed to retrieve the bilum but not the cash.

Albert will appear for mention on Nov 28.
