Manus deal with Australia is wrong

SO much has been said in the media regarding Peter O`Neill`s asylum seekers deal with Kevin Rudd.

I  would also say that the deal is wrong.

Resettling asylum seekers on PNG soil is not appropriate.

Rudd clearly dangled increased aid for PNG in front of O’Neill to convince him to sign the deal.

Why not ask the 111 elected PNG politicians to forgo their fat salaries and privileges to meet the cost of infrastructure development in the country instead of obtaining Australian taxpayers’ money? I really wonder why O`Neill, as our prime minister, should get into a partnership with Rudd who is on the campaign trail to score political points with Australian voters.

The Government has rushed into a deal with Australia that will have long-term repercussions on the country.
