Marape in ENB for B’ville talks

PRIME Minister James Marape is in East New Britain to open the week-long Autonomous Bougainville Government post-referendum consultation meeting.
He was welcomed at Tokua Airport in Kokopo yesterday with wife Rachael by a traditional group.
East New Britain Governor Nakikus Konga, Kokopo MP Emil Tammur, Gazelle MP and Health Minister Jelta Wong and provincial administrator Wilson Matava were at the airport with the vice-minister for Bougainville Affairs Peter Tsiamalili Jr.
Marape will today open the post-referendum consultation meeting which will end on Thursday.
Justice secretary and Attorney-General Dr Eric Kwa and Dr Thomas Webster from the National Research Institute accompanied Marape.
Others included Justice Minister Bryan Kramer, Public Service Minister Joe Sungi, Inter-Government Relations Minister Pila Niningi, Works and Implementation Minister Michael Nali, Transport and Infrastructure Minister William Samb, Oro Governor Garry Juffa and Enga Governor Sir Peter Ipatas.
