Markham district a drive-away winner

MARKHAM district development authority is the winner of the K128,000 PMV truck in Boroko Motors’ annual lottery in Port Moresby yesterday.
Sales consultant Kevin Komun said this was the fifth year of the promotion which was done as a way of acknowledging their clients.
“We run the promotion for three to four months and draw the winner by November, so that some people can have something for Christmas,” he said.
“Anybody who buys an Isuzu model during the promotion period goes into the draw to win this truck. For the promotion period, the drive-away price is K128,000.
“The normal price is K138 000.
“During the promotion we did about 190 vehicles from all the dealers that we have – Goroka, Lae, Mt Hagen, Rabaul and Port Moresby. Total entries nationwide for the four months were about 190 Isuzu products.”
Komun said the winner would be notified and a presentation would follow in Lae.
He said Boroko Motors hoped the truck would be utilised for the good of the community.
Komun said previous draws were won by big organisations.
