Martial arts classes start on Friday

STONES Taekwondo master instructor Jamuga Stone announced that registration was open for students and children wanting to take up taekwondo classes to be conducted at   Port Moresby’s premier gymnasium – the Life Gymnasium at the Holiday Inn – beginning on Friday.
The programme will embark on promoting junior taekwondo martial arts and will be known as the Young Warriors.
The Young Warriors programme is part of the Stone’s Taekwondo Academy community project called “Kick drugs out of PNG and stop violence against children.”
The target age range for the training is between 7-15 years olds.
The students will be trained and supervised by Stone, a martial artist with more than 37 of experience.
Registrations began yesterday at the life gym and ends tomorrow before the classes start on Friday.
Interested students will pay a fee of K45 for the whole year.
Stone said only 50 spaces were available.
Adult Taekwondo classes and women’s self defence classes will be introduced later this year. For more details contact Stone on phone 3441673, 73929111 or 71203601.
