Maru urges people to develop wards, produce cash crops

THE Government will spend money to bring services to the people and in return it wants to get something back from the people who benefit from those services.
Yangoru-Saussia MP Richard Maru said this on a recent visit to Handrandokum village in Numbo local level government, Yangoru-Saussia, East Sepik.
He told the people that the Government would bring services such as roads and electricity to them and in return they needed to actively develop their wards and LLGs by producing cash crops and building houses to enable electricity and other services to be connected to them.
Maru said his aim as a parliamentarian was to ensure all villages in his electorate were linked by roads and he would support agricultural and livestock projects such as cocoa, coffee and poultry to develop the local economy.
He also challenged the people to elect leaders who had a clear vision for the district and who were capable of delivering.

  • MP RM, you are being closely monitored by someone from APO land on what you are doing to your district and people. Good MP, go ahead with what you are doing with your district as you are making a big difference in your province ESP.
You are in the top five (5) list of potential PM in the near future…
