Mauri greedy, selfish

LANDOWNER group chaiman Rex Mauri is a greedy, selfish man who cannot create employment for youths of Wau and Bulolo.
I thought when the Hidden Valley mine opened, all youths of the area would have a chance of working there but that did not happen because people like Mauri did not lift a finger.
The result is the current law and order issue in the district.
Mauri should not shift the blame to Sam Basil (The National, Jan 18), accusing him of not doing anything to curb law and other problems in Wau and Bulolo during the past two years.
One finger points to Basil but four point straight back at Mauri.
