Medical reports

Letters

I AM proposing to the judiciary arm of the government to consider employing its own medical doctors.
The reason is very simple. Many a times, people who pleaded guilty to serious crimes committed and sentenced to prison are always running to doctors to seek refuge allowing doctors to fabricate their medical grounds to appeal the case.
Now, the medical report provided by their doctors can be of bias defeating the justice served.
As such, to prevent case of this scenario, it is urged that National Judiciary Staff Services (NJSS) should employ a permanent doctor who will cross exam medical reports provided by doctors of whom they represent.
A lot of high profile cases of people who are found guilty always run to their own doctors to state their medical conditions so that it will in turn supersede the decision made by the judges/magistrates to release the culprit from prison.
Judges/magistrates have no choices but are convinced into believing one sided medical report provided by their own doctors, so to balance the equation and for the other party to be satisfied, court should have its own doctors who will cross exam medical report.
If the medical report provided has been fabricated by client’s doctor, charge both the client and the doctor for compromising the report.
That is illegal in nature which amounts to criminal charges.
That is the way forward for the opposing party because many a times the culprits are released from Bomana based on their fabricated medical report which then defeat the justice.
Justice Serve.
