Men killed in road accidents

POLICE say two men were killed in separate road accidents outside Wewak, East Sepik, over the weekend.
Provincial police commander Supt Albert Beli yesterday said in one of the accidents, a 38-year-old man from Torembi, sitting on the back of the vehicle, was killed when the driver lost control near a slope at Passam.
He said the driver was taken into custody for questioning.
Supt Beli urged bystanders and locals from Passam to approach police with any information.
Meanwhile, he said police were still trying to locate an unknown vehicle which allegedly ran over a 23-year-old man from Saure village.
