Meninga is doing a good job

THIS is in response to Kaidrokia Kava’s letter. To suggest that Mal Meninga is a lazy coach and that the longer he stays it will get worse are absolutely absurd. You do not coach a side to eight origin wins in a row by just sitting on your backside. The Kumuls are a very young side right now and what Meninga is doing is building towards the 2017 World Cup. This would mean testing players in different positions to get the combinations right. It might not have worked out for us during the Pacific test, but it gave the coach an indicator of where the team is at and what needs to be corrected. Keep up the good work, Meninga, and I believe we will be ready in 2017.
