THE Reunion Restoration Ministry PNG church in Goroka opened its new church building at Council-Camp and Pawa-Post settlements last week.
Church senior elder Manasseh Nonafuo opened the church at a ceremony on Friday.
Nonafuo said it was a great relief for the church members who had worked for years to build the church.
He said now that the ministry had a permanent structure, its members would be able to worship and have fellowship properly.
“This is the first permanent church building the ministry in Goroka has and we are grateful that we can now conduct worship and have fellowship in a decent church building,” he said.
Nonafuo thanked church members who contributed in cash and kind to build the church.
Another church elder Andrew Lofo welcomed fellow church members who came from other ministry churches in the community.
He said the opening of the church was a result of their tireless prayers and contribution.
The dedication ceremony was led by elder Bare Uba.
Church evangelist Gideon Kasa delivered the first sermon in the new church.
Church members sang songs of praise and later shared food.
