THE Ministry of Conservation, Environment and Climate Change will now make use of their 42 hectares of land at Moiktaka, 8-Mile, with a housing scheme project for its staff.
Conservation Environment and Climate Change Minister Wera Mori launched the staff housing scheme project yesterday.
“The strength of any organisation lies in the quality of its staff and the quality of its staff can be measured by their welfare,” he said.
“Remember that you will not achieve everything as it has to be a collective effort in order for us to achieve any particular task or exercise, the output will come from your staff.”
The 42-hectare portion of land belonging to the ministry has been undeveloped for many years and the ministry under the leader of the current minister is focused on carrying out the project.
The staff housing scheme project policy is yet to be confirmed and finalised but work on the land will proceed early next month.
