Missing out on oil palm

 THE people of Sohe district in Northern have missed out on benefits from the oil palm industry and their environment is adversely affected from the business activity, local MP Delilah Gore says.

She said poor waste management by the oil palm firm in her electorate had affected the river system, that many people depended on.

She said while they appreciated the oil palm industry in the province and the revenue it was generating for the country, waste management was a concern.
