MOBIL customers will notice some changes in the coming months particularly the new look for retail service stations across Port Moresby, ExxonMobil says.

Mobil Oil New Guinea Ltd has begun a major investment programme to upgrade signage at seven service stations across Port Moresby.

The company says four sites have been upgraded to date and the full programme is expected to be completed by end of this year.

“Consistent with the latest international global standards, the upgrades will enhance the look and feel of Mobil sites, promoting a positive and consistent experience for retail customers.”

Mobil PNG country manager Hwee-Tee Yeo said that the investment underscored Mobil’s commitment to its retail business in PNG.

“The PNG market presents a challenging operating environment.

“However, we are committed to the ongoing development of the energy sector in PNG.

“Mobil has made ongoing investments in PNG, notably in our terminal operations. We continue to upgrade our assets to better serve the people of PNG,” he said.

Mobil has been a major petroleum supplier in PNG.
