Moni Plus goes to Mt Hagen

MONI Plus has opened a new office in Mt Hagen, it’s third branch in the country.
After Mt Hagen Moni Plus will move to Kokopo and then to Alotau to open two more branches.
The company has two existing branches – in Port Moresby and Lae.
The official opening of the Hagen branch was held at Gapina centre and attracted employees from both the private and public sector.
Also present were Western Highlands Governor Paias Wingti, provincial administrator Joseph Neng, Deputy Governor Michael Mai, Moni Plus managing director Gajanan Barve, Moni Plus sales manager Lawes Omeri, MoniPlus director Sir Brown Bai, Moni Plus part owner Henry Lee, Bank of Papua New Guinea representatives and operations manager Boy Daroya.
The company said it would establish branches in all the provinces.
Sir Brown said that MoniPlus was for the people and it aimed to helped people, no matter where they live.
He said there were many financial institutions in the country and nthey should all aim to help people, especially those in remote areas.
Sir Brown said Moni Plus would continue to work in partnership with the government and the people.
“This is the third branch we are opening here, we will continue to reach out and established 22 branches and that is our vision,” he said\.
“Now that we have opened this branch in Mt Hagen, the third city, we will soon go to Kokopo and then to Alotau.”
Sir Brown said that this was part of development and everyone was needed to become a part of it to help take the country forward.
Governor Paias Wingti welcomed Moni Plus into his province to provide financial assistance to the people.
Wingti said this country needed more financial institutions to help people who were not able to meet the commercial banks’ loans requirements.
“I also would like to call on the people not to borrow money to meet social obligations but to borrow and use it on genuine purposes,” Wingti said.
He described Moni Plus as one of the best financial institutions in the country. “I welcome you to my province and your services here will help my people a lot in business or to support them in other financial activities,” Wingti said.
