MORESBY South Rugby League will head into its finals this weekend with Kaugere Bulldogs battling Taurama Wolfpack and Sub City Raiders facing 6-Mile Crows tomorrow for a week off.
The losers will play sudden-death matches next weekend.
In the women’s division, Gabutu Dragons will meet Joyce Bay Roosters and 2-Mile United play Raiders.
On Sunday, the elimination finals will see Vadvada United challenge Korobosea Souths and Dragons eye off Southern Sons.
Boasting a wealth of Digicel Cup players, both United and Dragons are premiership contenders, ending the regular season in sixth and seventh spots.
So Sons and Souths will need to be wary of their attack.
Souths beat Kone Eagles 18-4 in the eighth-place playoff and, with match fitness, should give United a run for their money.
The winners will advance to the next stage while the losers will bow out of the title race.
