MOSA Soccer League in Kimbe, West New Britain, successfully completed its knockout round last weekend, says president Andrew Henry.
“All the teams were very competitive over the weekend games, which for most teams, wins resulted from penalty shootouts,” Henry said in a statement.
Henry said that the divisions of Under-15 boys, U17 boys, women’s A grade and men’s A grade had top eight teams compete in the knockouts.
The divisions will each have four top teams go on bye this weekend while the bottom four teams will compete for spots in the semifinals to face the top four in each division.
In the U10 mixed division, there were only four teams and Admin FC advanced to the grand final after beating MTD FC 2-1 in a penalty shootout.
Construction FC edged Security FC 1-0 goal for a semifinal spot.
Henry said Admin FC were on standby for final and will play the winner of MTD FC and Construction FC game this weekend.
