Mothers take trip for Easter

MOTHERS from the Catholic Charismatic Renewal called the Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community from Port Moresby travelled to Sydney on a religious pilgrimage yesterday.
Their two-week meeting and fellowship with other international Christians will conclude with the last few days in Cairns before they return.
Leader Susie Malir said in 2017 the Disciples of Jesus from Australia conducted an Asia-Pacific School of Evangelisation in Port Moresby and gave them the idea to attend the Light of the Nation (an Easter camp run) in Australia.
Malir said there were 17 of them travelling and for most of them, it was their first time travelling abroad.
