CENTRAL Governor Rufina Peter says all revenues for the province should be invested into developing the province.
Peter, during a dedication service at the Central government headquarters yesterday, said monies from projects like the liquefied natural gas to make more and develop wards and local level governments (LLGs).
“Development in those levels of the province would be an answer to the people of the province’s remotest areas,” she said.
“Staff of the provincial administration should be reminded of the mandate and responsibilities they have on their shoulders.”
Peter called on the staff not to take their jobs and appealed for a good working partnership among themselves. “As your governor, I am not asking you to do more than your best but what people expect from us is to do our best,” she said.
“God’s guidance comes only when we do our best to serve the people.”
Peter challenged the staff to work hard and ensure all services reach the people.
