JIWAKA Christian Grammar Secondary School received K20,000 last Saturday.

The money from Chuave MP Wera Mori is from a commitment he made during the school’s first year 10 and 12 graduation last year.

Mori said assisting a school that catered for the rejected students was the way forward for human resource development of this country.

“As leaders, we are bound by our electoral responsibilities to deliver services.

“Though I am not from this province, I understand that many students from my province also get an education here and they are the underprivileged ones. It’s worth funding such school that caters for them,” he said.

Principal Willie Aluson thanked Mori for the assistance and assured him that the school will look at enrolling students from Chimbu if they applied.
