MPs should not sell themselves short

Letters

THERE are some things that should not be ignored when it comes to political power play in Papua New Guinea.
A coalition is always fragile because of MPs’ differences in interests and ideologies.
A cabinet that consists of different parties should be able to work together based on a mutual understanding.
MPs in a coalition cannot be selfish and value their ideas and interests over everybody else’s.
Power should not be given to anybody that is selfish.
All MPs have the capability to lead and influence change.
That is why they should not sell themselves short to the side that has the numbers because of personal interests.
