MPs speak up for people

Letters

LET us compare the past and present government policies.
We, the poor parents, say thank you to the PNC Government for supporting us for almost seven years with the Tuition Fee Free Policy.
Many of our students have completed tertiary institutions and are working.
We know the higher education loan programme (Help) scheme, implemented by the Marape Government, will take time.
We appeal to the members of parliament to speak up for us.
Let us move PNG forward, not backward.
We need to support the Government not the party leading the Government.

  • The recent HELP scheme will definitely be needing students with NID cards to access these loans and as reported this would be available around April of this year 2020.

As such PM Marape & Steven government should advise this country to allow for FREE EDUCATION to continue this year 2020 while they get Department of Higher Education – DHERST to seriously focus’ on getting all students from around the country to register and get their NID cards before school resumes in year 2021.

  • PNC will come back and clean all the rubbish this government is creating and will eradicate non workable policies. This government has no clear policies and we are moving backwards. The king of infrustructure will return with his policies. PO is the man for the job and PNG is crying for him as we can see now.

  • As can be seen from the coast to the Highlands…former PM PO’s trails are there..no one can deny this and even these projects are continuing currently…have not seen any clearly defined policies and no projects have been launched yet by the current government….too much talking…taking back PNG slogan will only be fruitful if the current movement can invest in infrastructure, law and order and education…but priority must be placed in infrastructure development as through connected roads and bridges bring in economical benefits and the rest fall in line…

  • TFF funds, Pacific Games, Hunters win in ISC,APEC meeting,My Hagen-Madang road,Lae to POM road via Gulf, Construction of Law faculty building at UPNG,Kokopo-Kimbe road, etc some of the legacy O’Neill has left behind..There are many more..
How can the present Mararp Gov’t register and produce NID cards when some of us have filled NID forms 4 years ago and are still waiting for the cards?
