Mungkas determined to continue momentum

REIGNING champions Mungkas will take nothing for granted when they face competition rookies Seeadler in their Port Moresby Soccer Association men’s premier clash at the Bisini Soccer Ground tomorrow.
After beating Maclarens last time out, the third-placed Mungkas are determined to continue the momentum against Seeadler, who are seventh.
“My boys played well last weekend. They were more patient with ball possession. They want to use the same match strategy to win again,” Mungkas coach David Passam told The National yesterday.
‘’Seeadler are one of two teams promoted from division one this year and have so far performed very well.
‘’They have fast attackers so we’ll need to be alert in defence.”
Mungkas, who have not been as consistent as last year, had three straight losses before last weekend’s win.
“We are nearing the back end of the season so every team will be fighting for maximum points so we are not taking anyone lightly from this point,” Passam said.
Passam has the option of using an unchanged side after Mungkas got through last weekend unscathed.
