WEST New Britain Governor Sasindran Muthuvel has thanked the Japanese Government for funding the reconstruction of the Aum and Kapiura bridges.

“The bridges will certainly help the oil palm and forestry industries and improve the lives of the general public,” he said.

“They will benefit the people of East and West New Britain.”

He thanked the Japan International Cooperation Agency for identifying the two bridges for reconstruction and for honouring their commitment to the project.

“I am happy that the two important bridges identified to be improved,” Muthuvel said.
