NA’s move to change NCD Act ridiculous

Letters, Normal

I REFER to recent reports that the National Alliance-led government is thinking of changing the NCD Act so that the regional member does not automatically become the chairman of NCDC.
Why should NCDC be governed differently from the other provinces whose regional member becomes the automatic governor of the province?
It looks like the National Alliance party is going all-out to create confusion among the people and making the PNG constitution look tyrannical and alien.
Our MPs should be making and introducing laws and policies that are consistent and sensible, just and good.
Otherwise, PNG voters should be prepared to elect new MPs who will make good laws by voting out all recycled MPs.
It is time to strengthen our constitution and get rid of corruption.
