Nali tells Opposition to do everything right for the people

MINISTER for Works and Mendi MP Michael Nali reminded leaders on the opposite side of the house to “do everything right for the people.”
He was speaking after a motion for a new parliamentary committee on private business was passed through a vote by the Opposition to appoint members on their team.
“I have been in this house for a long time, it is important,” Nali said.
“I say this for the good of all of us and for the country and for the respect of parliament.
“We see that a lot of the ministers from Government headed by DPM have moved to the other side.
“This game is not over.”
Before he continued he was shouted down by the Opposition team. He, however, replied: “Let me speak.”
Nali continued: “I am making a point.”
He was told to sit down by Opposition leader Belden Namah who caused Nali to respond in Pidgin.
“Yu kam sindaunim mi, yu kam (You come and make me sit, you come),” Nali told Namah.
“This floor has always recognised the number games, I want to say whatever we do we have to do everything right. Now, if you have 55, 56 or 57 and you can move a motion, that does not mean you can run over and do whatever you want to do.
“We must respect the system and allow the process to take its course, this business of getting angry and turning everything around, it doesn’t matter, you won’t turn this world upside down today.”

  • Nali himself is a hot headed MP. He should get the log from his own eyes before accusing Belden Namah of not respecting the system and processes. Is he not the MP who was reciting a war dance armed with a semi automatic gun, some time ago in Mendi.

  • It’s time for Nama to return serve. Nama is a real WARRIOR. Whether is has numbers or along, his opposition grit and might has never withered. I admire his never say die spirit. He’s a powerful leader, a king maker.

  • PMJM, in the beginning did mention that we will face hardship for a short time for long term gain.
Just a few months and already we can see hungry MPs crossing the floor.
Let PMJM be. Just trust him.
If this government moved, I’m sure there’ll be civil wars coming in the near future, because people are tired of corruption.
    It is simple straight forward.
Just because PMJM moved the essential instruments (to fight corruption) likes ICAC, whistle blowers act, and people to get money through banks (SME). I believe many MPs will be implicated. We can see clearly with our own eyes.
I have believe and faith in PMJM. I hope we are not fooled. It is hungry people speaking up loudly now.
What we should be doing is wait for a while and see how we’ll go. Don’t form a new government quickly.
If we form a new government, we will live to regret it.
Tin tin tasol lo observation blo me!
