Nambawan Super goes digital for remittance

NAMBAWAN Super has introduced new technology to make it easy for employers to remit members’ contributions digitally such as the Nambawan employer pay.
Employer relations manager Chris Mota said during the recent 2021 Nambawan employer and members conference that the Nambawan employer pay was a new online payment portal system for employers and the fund to remit contributions and employer listings.
“This is a solution to the current manual contributions and reconciliation process in practice between the fund and our employers,” he said.
“The main benefit for members is that their accounts can be updated on time.”
Chief executive officer Paul Sayer said the Nambawan employer pay would “make things easier for our employers to remit their contributions to the fund, and in that way members are able to get their funds allocated into their accounts efficiently and effectively”.
“The portal is being tried out by 12 companies, including Nambawan Super’s own payroll team,” he said.
“Of these 12 companies, eight are successfully using the portal.
“The Nambawan Employer relations team has covered only 3 per cent of all contributing companies to the fund.”
