Nasfund credit rate

 NASFUND members can expect to receive their 2010 credit rate late next month.

Nasfund said in its January e-news letter it will make the announcement on  members’credit rate after their accounts have been audited.

The fund was reacting to queries from members who wanted to know if the return would be in double digits.

Based on unaudited results, “the answer is ‘yes’,” Nasfund said.

However, the fund would be taking in an allowance for reserves of around  4%, up 1.4% from the current reserve rate of 2.6%.

Meanwhile, Nasfund Contributors Savings and Loan members can expect to receive interest payment in excess of 4% on their savings after a strong performance by the society last year.
