Nasfund members urged to join text service

NATIONAL Superannuation Fund Ltd (Nasfund) is calling on its members to sign up for free information service Text’Bal.
So far there are 18,000 people subscribed who will be informed of their latest balance of their savings with Nasfund via their cell phones either through bemobile or Digicel networks.
The service, which is Nasfund’s latest offering introduced early last year, has helped Nasfund members get free information of their balance whenever updates are done on their accounts, according to Nasfund joint chief executive officer Ian Tarutia.
Team leader for marketing and client Relations Turaho Morea said the Text’Bal service saved members time and energy in visiting the Nasfund offices just to know their balances in superannuation savings.
