Nasfund starts withdrawal applications via email
THE National Superannuation Fund (Nasfund) has commenced receiving withdrawal applications via email, as part of its efforts to improve online services.
Chief executive officer Ian Tarutia said members who had completed their benefit payments applications could now email their completed forms to [email protected].
“Recent improvements to internet access, have allowed more of our members to now have access to online services. Given this trend, as the leading superannuation fund in Papua New Guinea, it is important that Nasfund ensures our service change with the times,” he said.
“This process ensures that our members can submit their travel applications from wherever they are, without having to physically visit a Nasfund branch, saving valuable time and money, however we will not be accepting lodgments via email by third-parties,” he said.
Some members will be required to come in should there be details on the applications that need to be physically reviewed.
“The online services we offer range from a suite of products including the member online portal, employer online portal, Nasfund app and exciting developments in regards to our traditional shop floor presentations,” Tarutia said.
