NCSL boss’ response commended

Letters

THE reply by Nasfund Contributors Savings & Loan Society (NCSL) general manager Vari Lahui to a “Frustrated Customer’s” letter in The National on Nov 13, 2019 indicates the organisation is well managed and focused in providing fast quality service to its customers.
The reply from the top assures its customers that the leader in this organisation is there to serve them.
The customer’s complaint was replied within 24 hours.
What Papua New Guinea lacks in today’s business and public service is quality leadership from our Papua New Guinean executives.
Too many degree holders and doctorates and masters plastered on their faces but they do not perform in the real world where it matters.
There are many letters in the print media by the public seeking answers from public office holders which go unanswered day in and day out.
You will notice well run organisations, especially private companies, are prompt in replying to questions or complaints raised by customers or the public.
Sadly, our so called executives in the public sector lack such management and leadership qualities which results in the non-delivery of basic services.
I take this opportunity to congratulate NCSL also on its incredible growth in the financial services industry, its focus on using technology to drive their business and of course its strong firm management team.
It is great to see a Papua New Guinean growing this organisation. Well done NCSL.
