A NEW bridal shop called Bridal Accessories and Fabric is now opened to the public at the Vision City Mall, Port Moresby.
The shop is owned by two Papua New Guinea women who have recognized the increased fashionable expectations by women in the country.
Founder of PNG’s Fashion and Design Week Ltd, Janet Sios, who is also the part-owner of the shop, said the new Bridal Accessories and Fabric Shop will be focused on meeting the needs of every female in picking out the perfect dress for their wedding.
“This also includes dresses for her bridal party and even services for her taste in fabric towards her bridal party and memorable honeymoon packages.
Sios said that they are thrilled that they have been able to offer a service that is not only new but rare in the nation’s capital.
“We have seen a high interest by many women who want to look good and feel confident in whatever clothing they wear on a special occasion.
“We hope this shop will not only cater for this market but also help women to cater for their needs by choosing a dress on their wedding day and feel good in it,” she said.
Sios said it was not easy for PNG women to be able to finally feel free to make choices for themselves when planning for a wedding. “And we hope by offering this service, their challenge becomes our challenge and we look forward to helping this growing market.
“Apart from ensuring that the bride looks perfect on her special day, the new BAF shop is also offering an event planning service that will also ease the burden of planning a wedding day,” she said.
Sios said the shop offers wedding dresses in rich, bold colours, luxurious fabrics with modern accessories.
