City Light, Royals, Defence, Reds, Mantis and Dirty Eight representatives attended the meeting.
Kamiak thanked to the clubs for showing their interest to keep MRFU alive by attending the meeting to appoint new executives.
“The preseason 15s will begin this weekend with women sevens also included this year,” he said.
“Further updates will be posted on the MRFU Facebook page and all players are urged to continue training to remain fit for the preseason this weekend.”
Some former and current players who attended the meeting were Julius Tingiran, Elias Labi, Aiem Pilakos, Derek Levi, Mathias Wamapiri and Laho Posu.
Registrations is still open for interested clubs to sign up for the upcoming season.
