New TPA images online

Five hundred new high resolution images are online now, after being handed over last week at the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority (PNGTPA) office by professional photographer David Kirkland.
Kirkland was commissioned by PNGTPA to complete a three-year image library project in 2007.
He has travelled all around PNG to capture the best still images.
Thousands of images had been captured but only 500 had been selected for the PNGTPA online image library.
“PNG is really a fantastic place where there is so much to capture,” Kirkland said.
The licence agreement regarding the images was also signed last week.
The agreement is important for copyright laws.
The images can be accessed on www.pngphotolibrary.com.
Kirkland said there was great potential for more photographic work to be done in the future.
