Niningi: Sir Pita a firm man

IMBONGGU MP Pila Niningi has described the late Sir Pita Lus as a man who always believed in a cause.
He said Sir Pita, who was behind the formation of the Pangu Pati, never moved to any other party.
“I’ve known him for many years,” Niningi said. “Initially, I was endorsed by the Pangu Pati when I first contested the elections.
“Late Sir Pita was a naturally intelligent man from Maprik.
“He had his own ways of doing or saying things. He always believed in a cause and stood by it.”
He said when Sir Pita spoke in Parliament, he did not just make noise on the floor but “speaks strategically”.
