NKW Group gets behind Morobe tournament

THE Morobe Open is expected to be one of the best spectacles on the country’s golfing calender, with NKW Group of Companies getting behind the tournament this year.
NKW have ensured that the event will be one of the most organised tournaments to be held in Lae.
The event begins with Wednesday’s pro-am which allows sponsors, members and enthusiasts to play alongside professionals.
After the pro-am, the golfers will have a shot at the Commercial Vehicles Shootout.
The event is where professionals chip onto the green in front of the clubhouse.
On May 3 will be the Calcutta event in the evening and tournament organisers are expecting the bidding to be lively.
The Morobe Open keeps its momentum heading into Saturday straight after third round of the event to have the longest drive challenge that will be held in front of the club house which makes for some great entertainment, according to the organisers.
“After all of that as always the last round of golf makes for the most entertaining for the week and again as always we are expecting a fabulous day,” the organisers said.
