No point changing the government now

Letters, Normal

Despite the good intentions of OLIPPAC, it almost became a tool for dictatorship.
This was obvious to a certain extent under the NA-led government.
When the Supreme Court declared certain parts of the law unconstitutional, the opposition talked about the possibility of changing the government.
But what can a new government do between now and 2012?
Given the inefficient service delivery culture we have in PNG, I do not expect to see any changes within such a short period of time.
If it is change the opposition and the people of PNG seek, let it happen in 2012.
The opposition, meanwhile, should continue to play its mandated role and expose corruption in public forums and media so that we have an informed population before going the polls.
