No TV, read books instead

Letters

PARENTS who have television in their homes need to be mindful of their children on how they are going on with it.
Children seem to be addicted to watching TV all day and that has brought so much laziness.
They seem to disobey their parents.
Many parents believe that children watching TV are most likely to improve in their written and spoken English and broaden their mindsets in their studies.
That could be true, but I still don’t agree with that.
Why not provide them reading books?
Reading books may be the perfect substitute of watching television. Children seem to waste more time, watching television and are becoming lazy.
