Filele said this was an increase of eight teams from last year.
He said Bintangor Lahanis selectors were working around the clock over the last four days identifying raw talent for the train-on squad.
“The train-on squad for the Lahanis for next year will be announced and they will immediately go into training,’’ Filele said.
Franchise owner of Bintangor Lahanis Simon Sia reaffirmed his commitment to maintain his sponsorship for the coming 2019 Digicel Cup competition for the 13th consecutive year.
He also thanked the 32 teams, their respective managements and technical officials for helping make the tournament a success.
