NSCL members to pay taxis using cards

THE Nasfund Contributors Society Ltd (NCSL) members traveling on taxis in Port Moresby can pay using their bank cards following the society launching four electronic funds transfer at point of sale wireless terminals available on Safeco taxis in the nation’s capital.
It said in a statement that this was for the convenience of its members and other travelling passengers commuting in the city.
Chief executive officer Vari Lahui said this was part of the society’s continuous focus on its efforts as part of being a progressive and innovative financial institution.
Lahui said NCSL was a young and thriving financial organisation built on membership loyalty and trust, it related to thousands of contributors from various backgounds and sectors of employment.
“Being the first non-bank to be on retail electronic payment system and the biggest savings and loan society by membership size it will continue to focus on delivering good quality and efficient service to its members to meet members’ evolving needs and rising expectations,” he said.
