PRIME Minister Peter O’Neill has assured the people that the Government will try to complete all planned projects within the next five years.

He told people during a groundbreaking ceremony at the Kagamuga International Airport in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands, on Monday that the focus was on moving forward.

“Since Independence, we have not properly governed our resources and managed our affairs.

“People need the Government and the Government needs the people so that both can stand together and move ahead,” O’Neill said.

He said it was the key to political stability and stability in the public service to make the Government work.

“We have to make a good approach and I assure you that every project this government is putting up is to be completed within these five years.”

O’Neill said the Government would try its best to change the nation by implementing projects.

He said the multi-million kina airport upgrade would help national development.

“I don’t like too much talking with no action, and that is what the Government is focusing on now,” O’Neill said.
