Oaeke’s appointment should be commended

THE elevation of hardworking senior officer Andrew Oaeke in the Treasury Department to acting secretary should be commended.
He is quiet, gentle, humble and a well-trained senior professional.
His elevation was not a surprise as treasury secretarial post is a very technical position which demands well-trained professionals such as him.
He joined the department as a young graduate and has been working for more than 20 years, hence, he deserves the post.
