Office slow in addressing issues

Letters

RESPECTIVE provincial education offices around the country are the front desk to assist teachers with their queries.
The East Sepik education office on the other hand is so slow in addressing teacher’s issues.
Some queries are solved after a month or six months or more.
Teachers follow procedures required but still it moves at a snail’s pace.
Most teachers teach in remote locations and travel to town to solve their problems. Such should be considered by the officers when attending to them.
They have to spend money on transportation, accommodation and food if they are to spend some time in town.
Officers who fail to perform should be replaced.
If the current system of processing things is slow or ineffective, come up with a new one.
Let us work together for the good of our students’ education and career.
