Officers training period too short

Letters

I EXPRESS my discontentment towards the police hierarchy regarding the 100 police reservists passing out of Gusap Tactical Training College in Ramu after just three months of training.
In the presence of Assistant Commissioner of Police northern command Peter Guinness and Morobe Governor Ginson Saonu, the reservist proudly paraded in their uniforms and conducted their newly-learnt drills. Can the Police minister investigate the training that was conducted for three months as peculiar to the six months training at Bomana Training College?
How come these 100 reservist police graduated in just three months?
Who authorised this three months training?
Is the Royal PNG Constabulary trying to make money by the reducing usual six months training to just three?
What did these 100 reservist police learn in three months?
A lot of questions need to be answered regarding this.
We have officers training at Bomana Training College for six months but yet become undisciplined and tarnish the constabulary’s reputation.
What do we expect from these 100 police reservists with just three months training?
