On the guard … This German Shepherd, named Songan, and his handler Senior Const Tom Kepak from the Lae police dog squad, were part of the security detail during the inaugural PNG Women in Business expo in Lae during the weekend. Eight-year-old Const Songan, who graduated from the Bomana Police College dog unit in 2002, was dressed for the occasion – dark spectacles and all.
