AS a rugby league fan, it is shocking and sad to lose one of the toughest blokes on the field.
It brings tears to all.
Kato Ottio is an inspiration to all, most importantly, the upcoming athletes of Papua New Guinea.
His sporting code switch from volleyball to rugby league is mind-boggling.
Ottio won gold medals for PNG when representing the country at the Pacific Mini Games in
Walis and Futuna playing volleyball, and Pacific Games
here in PNG playing rugby league Nines.
He has set a lasting legacy that will remain in all the people’s hearts.
To Kato’s mother and family, peace be with you.
All the people are mourning the death of your son with you.
