The son every mum dreamt of

I AM settlement mother who loves to use the Hunters players as role models when giving advice to my sons and nephews.
Kato Ottio is one player I use as an example.
He is a son every mother wishes her own son was like.
I’m crying while writing this.
It’s boys like him who have given hope to our sons in the settlements for a better life.
He has taught us that you don’t have to be playing rugby league since you were six or seven to be successful.
You just have to rise up and play your heart out.
Give your best at something you love to be successful.
Success is in our fingertips.
His passing has shattered my heart.
He was a huge inspiration for our sons here in Lae.
I prayed and I also heard other parents pray for comfort for Kato’s family.
Kato you don’t know us, but we follow you and will miss watching you play.
