OUR country’s top bureaucrats’ and politicians’ overseas trip total bills, if exposed, will be shocking.
Have they ever asked themselves, after an overseas trip: “How much have I gained from the trip?
“What message do I have for my country, department or the people of PNG?
“What strategies or something of practicality will I put into action so that my country, department or ordinary citizens can either benefit or adopt?
“Was the trip has anything of significance and worthiness?
“If I had achieved nothing mentally and practically, then I dare not take another overseas trip as I’ll be only making a mockery of myself.”
For too long, CEOs and politicians have made thousands of overseas trips that are fruitless with nothing to show for.
