PORT Moresby Rugby Football League (POMRFL) club Paga Panthers have been given a boost with a company providing jerseys to all its teams. Sanctuary Hotel representative Jamie Pang made the presentation to Panthers coach Richard Wagambie yesterday. Pang said the company was proud to support Paga. Wagambie said Paga was a foundation club in the country and that it was fitting for the company to back the team. “We are thankful to the Pang family and Sanctuary Hotel for the support,” he said. “This will certainly be a boost for all our teams that will be participating in the upcoming POMRFL season. “Paga was established in 1949. The club has a record of producing Kumuls and inter-city players for decades.” Paga women’s captain Janet Leme said they had been using the same jerseys for the last four years. “And to get new jerseys is special and we really appreciate the support,” she said.
