Hensley Peter, scored a hat-trick to help the Brothers secure a spot in the grand final with a 31-15 win over the University Piggies in the Capital Rugby Union at Bava Park on Saturday.
The heat was on the Piggies when Eugene Tokavai scored in the first 30 minutes to hand the Brothers the lead.
The Brothers added two more tries to lead 19-3 in the first half.
Not to be outdone, the Piggies scored two tries to start the second half with renewed vigour.
But that was all they could manage, as the Brothers romped home to maintain their unbeaten streak.
“The players did well,” Brothers coach Joe Kautu said.
“They executed our game plan well and we are happy with the win.
“It was good to beat them the third time.
“Universities have some really good players and that was something the team had to bear in mind. But the players usually focus on themselves.
“We focus on our game in attack and defence.
“Everyone did well throughout the match.
“Hensley’s hat-trick helped us make the grand final.
“For now, we will just try to stay focussed on fixing and adjusting the little things like our game plan in preparation for the grand final.”
The Piggies face Harlequins next week to see which team will do battle with the Brothers in the decider.
